A Few Things That Have Worked in Marketing My Home Business Offline. I have also used ideas that have been handed down to my from others that are great ideas as well.
- Lead Boxes Placed at Local Businesses (Pizzeria, Laudromat, Beauty Salon, Video Store, etc.) - Use a small cardboard box decorated with bright paper that has an ad for my home business and a drawing announced to win a Free Product pack. Attach a pad and pen to the box in case they do not have a Business Card to put in the box.
- Business Cards - Hand out to new people you meet who may be interested, send them out with the bills sent through the mail, use to give home phone # to people who have requested them, etc.
- Flyers - Use bright paper to create flyers and post them at grocery stores convenience stores, etc.
- Postcards - Use these to mail to families who recently had a birth in the family or to follow-up with people who were interested, but haven't heard back from them.
- Literature Packets - Prepare packets of information and give them to daycare centers, senior centers, etc. to distribute or leave at front desks.
- Make product packs for different occasions (teacher appreciation day, holiday gifts, etc.) and include business card and product literature.
